It’s hard to believe the present day Three Stallion Inn was once an old farmhouse. Beautifully restored, the inn has eight air-conditioned guest rooms, all with private baths. The adjacent Morgan House has an additional seven rooms. The inn’s fitness center features two whirlpools, a sauna, and an outdoor pool. Tasty gourmet meals with daily specials are offered at the Lippitt’s Restaurant, where executive chef, Bob Hildebrand uses the freshest ingredients for all his New England dishes. The restaurant welcomes the public as well as inn guests.

Enjoy the “Sporting Life” while playing a round of golf on the adjacent 18-hole Montague Golf Course featuring a beautiful, 6,300-yard links golf course with many holes fronting on the Third Branch of the White River. Try tennis on our outdoor courts, or 35 km of biking and hiking. Experience New England’s best mountain biking on over 240 miles of Third and Fourth class roads and single-track trails. The same trails provide excellent cross country skiing in the winter and there is a full service cross country ski and snowshoe rental shop on the premises.
